We are happy to announce Alaa El Idrissi will be teaching our new Judo program! We will be starting with 5 classes, two each on Tuesday and Thursday and one on Sunday morning.

A third degree black belt in Judo, Alaa has traveled the world refining his craft.
Born to a non-athletic family in Casablanca, Morocco his father brought Alaa to a karate club to keep him out of trouble as a kid. Excelling at karate quickly, he quit after receiving a black belt and began judo at the age of 12.
Since then he has represented his country nationally and internationally, attending training in Japan, Korea, France, and many of the other top judo countries in the world. His accolades include Moroccan National Champion, African Champion, Arab Champion, and at his prime he was ranked 9th in the world. Outside of Judo Alaa has also won Moroccan Sambo Championships, placed second at PanAms Sambo Championships, won Wrestling, and has won multiple NAGA divisions.
His passion lies in coachinghowever. Alaa is a certified strength coach, has worked as a Personal Trainer, has held Judo clinics throughout the US, has taught Judo for MMA & BJJ at various clubs, and has provided judo training to numerous athletes on the USA Elite Judo Roster.
